Ischia's Beaches

Ischia is with its 18 miles of beaches, bays and coves are the background of unpolluted landscapes and wonderful for their ancestral che fanno da sfondo a paesaggi incontaminati e splendidi nella loro ancestrale to be primivite, considered garden of Europe. 

Many of these beaches are accessible on foot ot thanks to convenient parkings, by car, others, like the San Pancrazio beach and Scarrupata beach create an adventurous way to get them only by sea , special excursions renting a boat (if you don't have it) to search to be away from the rest of the island at least for a day.

The warm hugs of the sun on the golden Ischia beaches, the sea have rich floor and coloured with different tone of blue mixing with the colour of the sky and the emerald green of the most beautiful gems in the world.



San Pietro is one of the largest beaches in Ischia. Most of the beach is free but there are also areas where you can pay to have a sun-bedparasol and drinks etc. 


Inglesi beach is a very small and quiet beach in Ischia Porto, great for snorkelling with its shallow waters and interesting caves,  it's best visited in the mornings to make the most of the sunshine.



Ischia Lido Beach


Lido Beach lies between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte




La Mandra Beach is a small beach that can be found between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte 


Ischia Cartaromana Beach


Cartaromana is a small but pretty beach with fantastic views of Castello Aragonese. The beach is in an area some distance from the main town of Ischia Ponte but is certainly worth the walk.




Cava dell'Isola could be described as a 'fun' beach as the people that go there tend to be on the young side and play...




Citara is one of the biggest beaches in Ischia, just outside the town of Forio. It's accessed from the main road and has a good selection of car parks



Chiaia is the closest beach to the main town of Forio. The water at Chiaia is quite shallow in places and this makes it a popular destination for families with children 



San Francesco is a medium-sized beach in Forio, great for familiesyoung and older people alike. Close by are rocks and caves

Cava Grado beach can be found just outside the picturesque fishing-village of Sant'Angelo. Despite being fairly small in size






Just a short walk away from Maronti beach or the town of Sant'AngeloLe Fumarole beach is famous for its fumaroles. The fumaroles are hot vapours
